About the event

In this very special class, you get the best of both worlds: 2 poems and 1 argumentative essay. Nowhere else will you find a workshop that encompasses both Literature and English, conducted by a tutor with a PhD in Literature and 23 years of experience.

In this highly sought after holiday programme, students will learn:

💡 Techniques for answering exam questions

💡 To differentiate between discursive and argumentative essay questions

💡 Respond to the requirements of argumentative writing

💡 Write an exmplary argumentative essay of his/her own

Literature practice papers and essay questions specially crafted by me will be made available to all students. I have a PhD in Literature and teach academic writing at the top university in Singapore. Every day, I help university undergraduates to navigate their way through literary texts and to write. This workshop requires a minimum of 2 students to run, and is capped at only 6 students. Classes will be conducted online via Zoom if there are 2 students, and at Marine Parade if there are 3 or more students. Payment details will be provided in email after registration; seats are confirmed only upon payment of fees. In the event that the workshop does not meet the minimum number of students to run, payment will be fully refunded.
